We Thank You

We are grateful for the ACCPD & the GBI for finding Cayle. While the search is over there are still questions to be answered. We will continue to post here as new information is available.

The family wants to express their most sincere gratitude for the outpouring of concern, support & resources that friends and the Athens / Atlanta community have so generously volunteered.

This support has been pivotal in the family's coping during the time of uncertainty.

We would also like to thank the media who respectfully met our request for assistance in locating Cayle and we know that it is with this same kindness that they will respect our family's privacy during our time of mourning.

Sincerely
Cayle's Family

I attended Dunwoody with Cayle and I just heard the news about her tonight. I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers will be with your family. I prayed for a much happier outcome. Although I know from experience that closure of any kind helps. I know how hard it is. My brother-in-law was missing for a week in 2000 and he was later found in a lake. It was the most difficult thing I have ever been through and Cayle's story on this evening's news brought back a lot of buried emotions. I pray your pain subsides quickly and her vivid memory stay with you always.

With deepest sympathy,

My heart breaks to hear this horrible news. I had never met or even heard the name Cayle Bywater before this, but I have been drawn in and feel like I have somehow lost a friend as well. Words cannot express the sadness I feel for her family and friends.

It is apparant that she impacted all of whom she met and was deeply loved by so many. Thank you for this resourceful and hopeful website you created. It helped those of us who became involved stay connected and to have a means to offer our prayers and express our sympathies.
