Dear Cayle's Family,
Thank you for keeping us updated. My thoughts and prayers will continue to go out to you. I will be more than happy to donate what I can to the Memorial Fund. I knew Cayle in Peachtree and Dunwoody. She will be dearly missed by a lot of people. Even though we weren't close friends she always had time to make me laugh when I was down. She was an angel then and is one now. I hope God brings you all strength and support to get through this hard time.
Love and Prayers

I urge everyone out there to donate what they can, even if it's just a dollar or two. Cayle's family does not need their grief compounded by financial worries at this terrible time...

To Cayle's family,
We would like to offer our sincerest condolences during this time. Although we did not know Cayle personally, her story has touched our lives. Our family lives right beside Memorial Park, and the day we heard that she had been found my mother, daughter, and I placed 2 dozen roses in the pond as a tribute to Cayle's beautiful spirit. We hope that now your family can find some peace. May God bless you and keep you.
With love, the Lewis and Fitzpatrick family

Our love and support go out to Cayle's family. She had obviously touched so many lives in ways she may have never realized. Although she will be sorely missed; her spirit will live forever in our memories. The following is a poem that gives me solace when I lose someone unexpectedly and will hopefuly remind her mother of what a wonderful thing she did by bringing Cayle into this world:

I'll lend you for a little time, a child of Mine, He said.
For you to love the while he lives, and mourn when he is dead.
It may be six or severn years, or twenty-two or three....
But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and tho' his stay be brief, You will have lovely memories as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay, since all from Earth return, but there are lessons taught down here I want this child to learn.
I have looked the world-wide over in my search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes, I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain, nor hat me when I come to call to take him back again?
We fancied that we heard them say, Dear Lord, thy will be done!
For all the joy the child will bring, the risk of grief we run.
We will shelter him with tenderness, we will love him while we may and for the happiness we have now, forever grateful stay.
But shall the angels call for him much sooner than we planned, we shall brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand.

On that golden slumber, the worn spirit is, He'd for the blazing mantle of immortality.

I worked with Cayle's mom Valery at DeKalb. I have been watching the news everyday and hoping and praying for your family. Although, I did not know Cayle personally I did know her mother and she is a great lady and often talked about her kids. I cannot imagine what you are going through but my family has been thinking of you and we wish you peace and strength during this difficult time. God bless all of you.

Hello Cayle's Family,

I just wanted to let you know that I am so sorry for your loss. I also wanted to let you know that I have been trying also to contact the news (since last Friday) to get them to run stories about your case, particularly about the next item I shall write. I wanted to let you know, in case you didn't, that another UGA student disappeared last MARCH. His name was Yongsheng Li. He was ALSO a grad student, ALSO 29 and he ALSO went missing on a school holiday. He was ALSO found in a pond south of campus. He ALSO lived on Milledge AVE extention grad housing, not far from Memorial Park. They mentioned him only a few times at school and only because family and friends insisted. Tests on the body initially came back "inconclusive" and they sent it to the GBI and we never heard another word about it again. I think the two cases are too similar to ignore. Plus, combine that with all the circumstantial evidence of the door being open and the other details, it definitely warrents more investigation. I would hate to think something bad could have happened like that but I wanted to bring your attention to it. UGA tends to not mention things.. for the sake of their reputation and I think the lack of attention of the first case brings this to light. Even though he was missing for weeks, it didn't appear anywhere in the news until people pressed further. I hope you all find some peace and that this can be resolved. If you need more info., let me know by posting back. Bless You All.

Exactly. I learned of a bunch of weird things the former Chief Medical Examiner did while in his position. Another young student was found dead in very shallow water (as in an inch) at the end of my street and it was ruled suicide and I don't buy it. I know often truth is stranger than fiction but it seems the reputation of UGA was more important than the truth. Neither case was investigated properly. Rebecca Greene had a ton of benadryl in her system and I was told they never requested video from the nearby Walgreens. Cayle's case haunts me to this day. I feel physically sick when I think about. Continuing to keep her family and loved ones in my thoughts.
