Services

For the Saturday Memorial Service the family has decided to go forth with the informal Memorial Service at the park. Cayle loved the snow, so it seems fitting to the family to proceed, However, we understand if others feel that the conditions are to risky to attend we would want everyone to be safe. For those that are in Athens please keep us posted as to the weather conditions in Athens to help us make the safest decision Thank You

Saturday, January 19th at 2pm there will be an informal Memorial Service held at;
Athens Memorial Park (Rain or Shine)
293 Gran Ellen Drive
Athens, Georgia 30606
at the covered pavilion by the lake.
Everyone is invited, and we encourage all to bring their friendly dogs (on leashes).

Sunday January 20th at 2pm there will be a Service at:
Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel
5051 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard
Norcross, Georgia 30091
770-448-5757

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

-Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Cayle has touched my heart in a way no one ever has. I feel so close to her even though I didn't personally know her. I pray for her special family to be strong and try to understand what we can't understand.

Sincerely,

Love,

Tina

The memorial was lovely and I was glad that I was able to attend in spite of the weather. (I liked what Christian said about Cayle would have said "it's snowing"- how true!)

I had to leave early so I wasn't able to hear the music from Cayle's Ipod. I was wondering if sometime in the future you could list the song on this site? I'd really love to know what they were.

I didn't know Cayle really well and only hung out with her a couple of times over the years, but I always found her to be sweet, kind and funny. It made me so sad to hear that she felt she had few friends.

My thoughts are with her family and friends. May you find peace and comfort in your memories.

I hope that you will continue to update this blog with any new information. I used to work with Val at EDMC and am now out of town so regular updates would be greatly appreciated. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the family.
